Otti Black Snow

Otti - Snow is the touch of snow.  „With only the expression of the material we can feel winter.  We can weave a white fabric, with the glitter and shimmer of snow and a soft transparency.“ wrote Otti Berger.  Otti Berger was said to most completely express the spirit of the bauhaus in the 1930s.  She developed the touch board to teach touch at the bauhaus. She could weave snow.

This subtle textile uses contrasting materials to bring out the shimmer of snow.  It is availble in white snow and black snow.  We believe the legacy of Otti Berger can touch us today.
